About Charlene
Thanks for visiting my website! My name is Charlene and I want to be your food safety specialist.
I have been in the Food Safety field for the last 11 years.
I started out working in the office of an Abattoir with very basic hygiene skills and left that Abattoir 10 years later as a Quality Assurance Manager. This end of the food chain is very high risk when it comes to food safety so this was an excellent opportunity for me to learn all the ins and outs of food safety. I had to work very closely with the Department of Agriculture, Marine and Food to ensure the safety of the products produced. During this time, I was involved in periodic audits from the Department of Agriculture, Marine and Food, ISO and BRC.
I then started Clean Cuisine Consultants in Oct 2016 and aim the Food Safety Management Systems at the other end of the food chain like Hotels, Cafés, Pubs, Restaurants, Take Away’s, Deli’s etc. I feel because of my experience in the food chain I can bring very comprehensive knowledge to my clients and ensure the highest level of Food Safety for their businesses.
I’m born and bred in County Wexford where I still live with my partner Dave and my two beautiful kids.
